Meet Snape, the Turkey Vulture
Here we can see the turkey vulture exhibit home to Snape. These birds have a very long sense of smell, and they can detect carrion from miles away. They’re called “Turkey Vultures” because their head resembles that of a turkey, but they’re more closely related to Storks than hawks, owls, or eagles. They have a strong immune system that protects them from the bacteria inside of the rotting meat they eat.
