Kids Fest
Join us May 2nd, 2026 for some family-friendly zoo fun! This event is FREE to attend!
Kids Fest will be held 11am-2pm.
PLEASE NOTE - THE ZOO WILL NOT OPEN TO THE PUBLIC UNTIL 11AM TO ALLOW FOR EVENT SET UP
This year joining us we'll have:
-Big John's Pizza Queen food truck
-House of Cupcakes dessert truck
-Edelman Fossil Park & Museum
-Carnival games with prizes
-Craft stations
-Face painting
Our concession stand will also be open with snacks and beverages for sale. Please, no pets, bikes, skateboards, or scooters in the zoo. We are 100% wheelchair accessible, but we do not provide wheelchair rentals.

Join us September 26th for our 4th annual Run For The Animals 5K Fundraiser, held at the Cohanzick Zoo and Park!
November Workshop - Up All Night
Join us for our November workshop and come meet WhispWilliam, our resident screech owl! Learn all about screech owls, then enjoy an owl-themed craft. This event is free, but limited to the first 40 participants. Please email us to register at: zooeducation@cityofbridgeton.com
If you sign up and then are unable to make it, please let us know ASAP so that we may give your seat to someone on our waiting list!
September Zoo-Education Workshop: G.O.A.T
Join us for an animal meet and greet and an activity! This month we’re meeting some of our newer residents, our GOATS!
This workshop is FREE, but we do ask that you pre-register! To do so please email us at zooeducation@cityofbridgeton.com. Please include your full name, how many guests are attending, phone number, and email address when registering. Space is limited to the first 40 guests, so if you register and become unable to attend, please let us know so we can open your space up to another family!

Keeper Chats
Join our zookeepers Memorial Day through Labor Day for daily chats about select animals! Chats will occur daily at 11am, 2pm, and 3pm - weather and staff permitting. Check the whiteboard at the Zoo entrance for information on the day’s exhibits that will be discussed! Please note, these may pop up at random during the off-season, so please check our Facebook page for any pop-up chats!
