Welcome to the Cohanzick Zoo! As you roam the zoo, you may see signs just like this one. Scanning the QR code will bring you to an audio tour where you can learn more about the animals at our zoo. Besides the many exhibited animals, the zoo is also home to several ducks and peacocks that roam freely. One of the visitors favorite free-roaming animals at the zoo is the white peacock. He is known by many names such as Casper, Romeo or Special.  He is not albino but leucistic, which is an abnormal condition of reduced pigmentation that affects various animals. He only displays his tail feathers during the mating season in late spring and early summer.
